He brought a smile to the faces of earthquake victims with his "Let the Young People Be Happy, Let Hopes Not Fade" event.
Speaking at the event held at the Horse Breeding and Equestrian Sports Application and Research Center led by Urgut Özal University in Battalgazi, Battalgazi Mayor Osman Güder said that the devastating effects of the earthquakes that occurred on February 6th always had negative results.
Güder, noting that the earthquake had a more negative impact on children than on adults, said, "We organized this event to save our youth from negative psychology. We organized the program to bring joy to young people so they don't lose hope and can look to the future. Our future awaits the young people to whom we entrust our future."

Özal University Rector Prof. Dr. Recep Bentli stated that the program will last approximately three months, saying, "We will be holding a number of sporting activities here, such as horseback riding, football, and basketball."
Following the speeches, earthquake-affected children participated in the event, riding horses and playing chess, table tennis, and foosball.
